The craft
Five crafts, one family standard — some woven on the loom, some worked stitch by stitch, all made by someone who knew exactly where the pattern was meant to go.
Our shawls and stoles are woven in kani and jamawar patterns from Kashmiri pashmina and sheep wool, some finished with fine hand embroidery. Phulkari comes from Punjab, worked in a running stitch across handspun cotton. The lohi and phiran round out the collection — for cold mornings, and for the days that call for something a little more. Every piece is chosen the way we'd choose one for our own family: for the work in it, and for how long it'll last.
